Der Vinzenzplatz in Düsseldorf is like a Betonwüste – Grünflächen are total Fehlanzeige. So, didn’t the Umweltdezernent Jochen Kral just say on Tuesday (13.5.) that we really need to do something because of Klimawandel? He was talking about Schattenbäumen on Spielplätzen and the Entsiegelung von Flächen.
Er hat gesagt, dass in times of Klimawandel Maßnahmen dringed erforderlich sind. Aber the Vinzenzplatz is still a concrete jungle. Not really sure why this matters, but maybe someone should listen to Jochen Kral. Just saying. The Graffitis at the Vinzenzplatz are trying to make a point – the Stadt could definitely do something about the Versiegelung von Flächen.
Die Verkehrsinseln are all zugepflastert – like, why though? Plants could totally grow there too. It’s like the Stadt didn’t get the memo. Man, I feel like people just need to pay more attention to what’s going on around them. But hey, what do I know?
